Many students have the achievements and background to apply to Ivy-plus colleges, universities, and top BS/MD programs, but strong credentials alone do not make them a shoo-in.

The biggest challenge I see, as an admissions expert with 30 years’ experience, for high-achieving students is personal branding (self-expression, self-marketing): learning how to present their accomplishments clearly, concisely, and in a way that makes sense and is easy for admissions officers to understand.

Admissions officers spend only a limited amount of time reviewing each application before making a judgment and moving on to the next applicant. If you cannot clearly explain who you are, why your experiences matter, and what you want to study, your shot for acceptance is gone!

Ivy League Admissions Advisors, a division of Pinnacle Educational Center Admissions Advisors Group (PECAAG), specializes in helping students gain admissions to Ivy League and highly selective colleges. It also helps students transfer to Ivy League colleges!
