Dr. Mukesh K. Jain appointed Dean of Medicine and Biological Sciences at Brown University

As Brown alumni, Dr. Paul Lowe (Class of 1982) and Dr. Nadine Cartwright-Lowe (Class of 1982 and PLME, Class of 1985), are always pleased to share the positive changes in their alma mater: Brown University and Brown PLME.

Dr. Mukesh K. Jain will lead biomedical research and education at Brown University, and serve as Warren Alpert Medical School dean beginning in March. He is a physician-scientist, cardiovascular specialist and healthcare leader who is currently at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

Dr. Jain earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Buffalo and his M.D. from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and fellowships in research and cardiovascular disease at Harvard School of Public Health and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Paul Reginald Lowe is the managing director of Pinnacle Educational Center Admissions Advisors Group network.  He and his team of admissions advisors, through the admissions affiliate, BS/MD Admissions Advisors, help high school students get accepted to BS/MD programs.
